Kitchen Display System (KDS)

A kitchen display system replaces paper tickets with a screen in the kitchen. Every order — from a waiter, a QR code at the table, the kiosk or delivery — appears on it the moment it is placed, with its status and how long it has been waiting. The kitchen works from one list in the order orders arrived, and nobody has to read a crumpled ticket at the pass.

One list for every channel

Waiter, QR, kiosk and delivery orders all land on the same screen, in the order they arrived.

Waiting time at a glance

Each order shows how long it has been waiting, so the ones falling behind stand out before a guest has to ask.

No lost tickets

Nothing gets misread, dropped or buried under another ticket — the order on screen is exactly what was entered.

What a kitchen display actually changes

With paper tickets, the order of preparation depends on where each ticket was placed on the rail and whether anyone noticed a new one. On a screen, orders appear in the order they arrived and stay visible until they are marked done. The kitchen stops relying on memory and starts working from a list everyone sees the same way.

Every channel in one place

In a venue that takes orders at the table, through QR codes, on a kiosk and from delivery, paper means several sources arriving in several ways. The kitchen display shows all of them together. Because every channel runs through the same system, the kitchen never has to wonder whether an order came through a different route and is sitting somewhere else.

Status and waiting time

Each order carries a status and a waiting time. That changes the conversation during a rush: instead of a waiter asking the kitchen where table six is, anyone can see how long it has been waiting. Orders that are running late become visible while there is still time to do something about them.

Paper tickets, printer or both

A kitchen display does not force you to throw out the printer. Some kitchens run the screen alone, some keep the printer for the bar or as a backup copy. Both read from the same orders, so the choice is about how your kitchen prefers to work, not about what the system can do.

What you need for it to work

A screen or tablet in the kitchen, placed where the cooks can see it from the line, and an internet connection. Setup and connection to the rest of the system are part of installation. If you already use EasyOffer, adding the kitchen display does not require re-entering the menu or changing how orders are taken.

When a kitchen display is not worth it

We will be honest: in a small venue where one person takes the order and cooks it, a screen solves a problem you do not have. It is also less useful if your kitchen is a single station making a handful of dishes. The display pays off when several people work the line and orders arrive faster than anyone can keep track of on paper.

A display inside the system, not a separate screen

Standalone kitchen screens often need their own menu, their own setup and a connection that breaks whenever something changes. With EasyOffer the kitchen display reads the same orders as the POS, the waiter app and the kiosk. There is one menu, one set of orders and one daily report — the screen is simply another view of them.

Which orders appear on the kitchen display?

All of them — orders from waiters, from the QR code at the table, from the kiosk and from delivery. Every channel runs through the same system, so they land on the same screen.

Which plan includes the kitchen display?

The kitchen display is included in Standard at €39 a month (€349 a year) and in Pro at €59 a month (€529 a year). It is not part of Basic, which covers the digital menu only.

Do I still need a kitchen printer?

No, but you can keep one. Some kitchens run the screen alone, others keep the printer for the bar or as a backup. Both read from the same orders.

What hardware do I need?

A screen or tablet in the kitchen and an internet connection. Setup and connection to the system are part of installation.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The system keeps working offline and synchronizes automatically once the connection returns, so orders are not lost during an outage.

Can I add it later?

Yes. If you already use EasyOffer, the kitchen display reads from the same data — nothing is re-entered and the way orders are taken does not change.

Does it show how long an order has been waiting?

Yes. Each order shows its status and waiting time, so orders that are falling behind are visible before a guest has to ask.

What kind of venue benefits most?

Venues where several people work the kitchen line and orders arrive in bursts — busy restaurants, fast food, and places taking both table and delivery orders. In a one-person kitchen it adds little.
