Wolt integration: getting delivery orders into the same system
In most Skopje venues that do delivery the scene is the same: the Wolt tablet sits somewhere next to the till, it chimes, somebody picks it up, reads the order, and then enters that same order again into the till or carries it to the kitchen by word of mouth.
It works. But it is duplicate work, and that duplicate work is paid for in mistakes and in reports that don’t reconcile.
Three problems with the separate tablet
Double entry. The order already exists digitally — on the tablet. Somebody transfers it by hand anyway. Every transfer is a chance to get it wrong, and during a rush nobody has time to check twice.
The kitchen watches two sources. Table orders arrive one way, delivery orders another. When the kitchen has to track both, the order of preparation becomes a matter of judgement rather than a matter of system.
Revenue lives in two places. At the end of the day the till says one thing, Wolt says another, and somebody adds them up. If you want to know what you sold in total and what gets ordered most, that is a manual calculation.
What changes with an integration
When Wolt is connected to the system, the order arrives like any other order. It goes to the same place in the kitchen, is recorded in the same ledger, and appears in the same daily report.
In practice that means three things:
Nobody re-types. The order from the app reaches the system exactly as it was sent. Misread ingredients and forgotten sides simply stop happening.
The kitchen has one list. Every order — from a table, from a QR code, from delivery — appears in one place, in the order it arrived. Kiosk orders are paid at the counter and print in the kitchen at that moment.
There is one report. At the end of the shift you see all revenue, whichever channel it came through. If you want to know whether delivery brings in more than the tables do, that is data you have rather than a calculation you make.
When you don’t need it
We will be honest:
- If you don’t do delivery, this integration solves a problem you don’t have.
- If you get two or three Wolt orders a day, the tablet is perfectly tolerable and not worth changing anything for.
- If delivery is a separate business with its own kitchen and its own team, separate systems may suit you better.
The integration pays off when delivery is big enough to create pressure — usually when app orders start colliding with table orders during the same rush.
What EasyOffer supports
Wolt orders enter the same system as everything else — the same kitchen list, the same daily report. It works alongside the POS, the kitchen display and category-based printing.
If you would like us to check whether your delivery volume justifies connecting it, tell us how many orders a day you take through the app and we will give you an honest answer.
